We Saw You Dancing in the Streets at Downtown Silver Spring!!

It was a good old-fashioned late summer street party and Gringo Jingo got to celebrate in style with hundreds of Santana fans outside on the promenade in downtown Silver Spring, Md. Many of you camped out for both sets and good many of you danced in the streets until well after sundown. It was a blast jamming with you especially the young ones. Here’s a few pics from the August 28th show and a video starring all of our dancers! See you next year!!!

July Fourth Fireworks Celebration: We Just Love Our Job!
Nothing beats a great fireworks show in the park except a great fireworks show AND lots of Santana! We loved partying in Kensington. The crowd danced with us, sang with us and even stuck around after the big light show. Thanks to Montgomery County Recreation and Parks, Rep. Chris Van Hollen, and County Executive Ike Leggett, and the big crowd. It was a rocking eve!

You Rocked Us in Bethesda!

It rained it poured, then the sun came up and lots of friends –old and new- came out to join us last Thursday for a pre-holiday jam session in downtown Bethesda. If you missed it here’s a great recap of the night here. If you came, thank you so much for jamming with us. Please send us a note and tell us what you loved about the show. We take all kinds of input so don’t be shy.
We have to say that everyone in the band loved playing at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club. The hospitality was great and this recently renovated art deco style theatre is really a fun place to play and experience live entertainment. We were originally scheduled to do one 90 minute set but the club saw it fit to let us roll with two full one hour sets and boy did that go over well.
The crowd on July 3rd was beyond enthusiastic; there were scores of Latin dancing aficionados out there that made us happy to be a Santana Tribute band. We saw you out there twirling and strutting your stuff. We took pictures too. Check them out, maybe you will see yourself out there.
This is where we supposed to tell you about where to catch us next, but one more thing. Friend us on Facebook, get on our mailing list –no we don’t spam- and email us anytime about anything, we want each show to be better than the next…If that’s even possible!
Outside in the lovely town of Frederick is where we will be next on Sunday August 24, 2014 at the Frederick Summer Concert Series in Baker Park. See you there!
“My job in this life is to give people spiritual ecstasy through music. In my concerts people cry, laugh, dance. If they climaxed spiritually, I did my job. I did it decently and honestly.”
